The 'Certification and Verification of Products' application give you the possibility to request the following services:
The order request process covers four main process steps:
One or more surveys booked for a given time is called a visit.
Start a new request by entering the reference number of you company. The reference number can be:
Our system will check if any orders are recorded under this number. If available, you can either continue with an existing case or start a new request under the reference number by clicking on 'New request'.
You can also fill in the reference number later and start a new request without a reference number.
The user will get a view of different service types available for the portal. (This view can be tailor made to fit your company's need)
The order window is divided in three main areas.
If available, supplementary information are provided through the info button () next to each field.
When starting a new order, they system generate automatically an unique DNV reference number (Axxxxxxx).

Based on the selected services, the information to be filled in under 'Products' may change.
PRODUCTS
Any product of your order is registered under 'Services'.
More information on how to register a product based on the selected service can be found on the following pages in the user guide.
VISITS
For all our services, you may request a visit. After registration of one or more products please select at least one of the predefined surveys or enter a new one as free text, register your preferred earliest and latest start and click on ‘+Add’.
If you have registered a new survey you may add this one to your predefined ones for next time.
Based on the selected services, the information to be selected under 'Select predefined' may change.
You may now change the contact information for this visit. Additional manufacturing information valuable for attending surveyor can be entered in the 'Information to the surveyor' field. Under 'Your visit address' you can predefine the different locations for your visits.
ATTACHMENTS
At any time, you may upload documents that are relevant for your request, e.g. copy of the purchase order, survey documents test reports and material certificates.
In 'Status information' you will always see the status of the request with a description, which functionalities can still be used:

If a survey is planned but has not been performed, you have the following options:
After you have completed an order, you have the following options:
Your order will not be deleted If you do not send the request to DNV and use the link to the portal homepage. The portal automatically saves the request. You can find it again in Draft Orders.
By sending the request you will get a summary of the registered data. You also confirm that your product is completely free of asbestos.
In the field “Additional Remarks” you may provide any other information that is important for handling the request, e.g. the address of your purchaser where the approved certificate shall be sent to, visit or manufacturing address (if different from ordinary company address), visit contact person or any other similar information relevant for DNV.
The request moves now from 'Draft Orders' to 'Ongoing Orders'.
